CA World 2010 was held from May 16 to 20 in Las Vegas, the world’s biggest gathering of IT professionals, customers and business partners of CA Technologies. Every year, this event is an ideal opportunity for Nexio to maintain its business relationship with CA Technologies.

Nexio in the Top 10

For Nexio, this year’s gathering was even more important than in previous years. Senior IT executives from CA Technologies came over to shake our hands, not only to express their appreciation for Nexio, but to announce that they were preparing to reduce the number of their preferred business partners. “CA confirmed that we were part of its top 10!” François Dansereau, VP R&D, enthusiastically exclaimed. Dansereau represented Nexio at CA World along with Gérard Chagnon, VP Service & Product Delivery, and Hichem Guemiri, Senior Consultant.

In the meantime, a new partnership is being established between Nexio and CA. The two companies are hard at work on an e-learning program for the CA software Endevor, using the CAPA solution. The project is progressing at a good pace and the first customer was announced recently: Ford.

Even the Quebec press was there!

Another Quebecer, Nelson Dumais, technaut columnist for cyberpresse, was present at CA World 2010. He visited our three representatives to ask them some questions about Cloud, while introducing Nexio in his column, Nuage: impartition, évolution et confusion (Cloud: outsourcing, upgrade and confusion - article in French).
