This June 9, Benjamin Masse, Vice-President, Products at Nexio Technologies, was interviewed on Canal Argent. He served as webcasting expert, explaining its advantages, different uses and growing demand.

In the corporate world, webcasting is used increasingly as a means of communication. According to Mr. Masse, companies have flocked to Web 2.0 for two main reasons: to reach their customers so that they can sell them goods and services, or to communicate with their younger employees who are more technologically adept. “A video message is much more personal than an emailed news release,” Mr. Masse very relevantly pointed out.

VIVÉ Nexio!

YouTube undoubtedly is the best known webcasting application. However, the famous website does not allow live webcasting. To compensate for this weakness, Nexio created the Vivé platform, which allows real-time, high definition webcasting to hundreds of thousands of Web visitors, thanks to a more robust infrastructure and greater reliability. For example, a company can use Vivé for live webcasting of a press conference or an AGM. Companies are no longer limited to the size of their premises, which have very limited capacity to accommodate people.

Finally, as Benjamin Masse mentioned in his interview, Nexio now benefits from international visibility thanks to Vivé and its various customers: Guy Laliberté (One Drop), Astral, Pages Jaunes, etc.

In constantly growing demand, webcasting is a commercial avenue that produces big returns!
